Skills in Epilepsy Care & Management

Accredited training offered by Epilepsy Australia member associations in partnership with Victoria University of Technology.

  • National competency unit Assess & Deliver Services to Clients with Complex Needs CHCCS6B

This elective unit is taken from the Community Services Training Packages that includes courses such as Certificate III and IV in Disability Work and Certificate IV in Aged Care Work.

Community and professional education programs

Epilepsy Australia member associations offer educational programs and training sessions for government services, corrective services, police services, St John Ambulance, indigenous communities, nurses, preschools, primary and secondary schools, TAFE, workplace awareness, disability service providers, aged care providers, accommodation services, respite services, disability employment services, and other interested community groups.

All trainers have the appropriate qualifications to deliver these programs and have extensive experience in epilepsy and its management.
